Feel festive with our easy to make Marmite, Ham & Camembert winter warmer toastie created in partnership with Mimi @beatthebudget

3 Minutes

  • 175 grams Camembert thinly sliced
  • 200 grams ham slices
  • 10 slices white bread
  • 5 teaspoons Marmite
  • 250 grams frozen Brussels sprouts defrosted and sliced into quarters, stems removed
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  1. Defrost your Brussels in the microwave for 2 minutes.

  2. To a non-stick frying pan, add 1 tbsp of olive oil along with the Brussels. Fry for around 5-6 minutes. Set aside.

  3. Meanwhile, butter or add oil to both sides of your bread (approx. 1 tbsp per 2 pieces of bread). Then, coat one side of each piece of bread with a thin layer of marmite. Adjust Marmite quantity depending on preference.

  4. Into a non-stick frying pan, place the bread butter-side down, so the Marmite is facing upwards.

  5. Leave to toast for a couple of minutes and then add a layer of Camembert, ham and Brussels. Close the sandwich and fry on each side for two minutes, until the bread is crispy and the cheese has melted. Enjoy!
