It all started with a rather jolly birthday snap last year. Eagle-eyed Marmite fans spotted something unmistakably loveable in the background. It became no secret that Elton John is in fact a huge Marmite lover, and has been for a long time.
So we thought it’d be quite a great idea to celebrate our most legendary of Lovers, with a limited-edition jar this year. Every Marmite 'Rocketman' jar sold will have 50p donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation, to support its mission to end AIDS by 2030.

The famous photo, the start of a collaboration Marmite lovers could never have dreamed of.
Marmite Lovers couldn't get enough. Naturally - this was the two British icons in one place, after all.
Anne Aslett, CEO of Elton John AIDS Foundation, said: "The Elton John limited-edition Marmite jar perfectly captures Elton’s iconic and bold essence, but also stands for something so meaningful and important. Thanks to Marmite and all Marmite lovers who purchase a limited-edition jar, the Elton John AIDS Foundation will continue to champion human rights, save lives and reduce new HIV infections here in the UK and around the world."
MARMITE: PROUDLY SUPPORTING THE ELTON JOHN AIDS FOUNDATION
The Elton John AIDS Foundation was established in 1992 and is one of the leading independent AIDS organizations in the world. The Foundation targets it’s global efforts to the most vulnerable of communities, where stigmatisation, marginalisation, and poverty have led to high rates of HIV and limited access to healthcare. Through this limited-edition collaboration, we’re helping to ensure that everyone has access to the health services they need, when and where they need them.
