Terms and Conditions:

 

The Promoter

1. Unilever Ltd, 3 St James Rd, Kingston upon Thames KT1 2BA (the “Promoter”).

The Competition

1. This promotion is open to residents of the UK (living in the UK) aged 18 or over except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. The title of the competition is "Marmite Pride” (the "Competition").

How to Enter

1. The opening date for entries is 17:00pm BST on 27^th June 2025 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 11:59pm BST on 30th June 2025.
2. To enter, submit the webform at https://www.marmite.co.uk/elton-john-aids-foundation-at-pride-competition.html, which includes the submission of a written question.
3. The Promoter will review the entries and select three Competition Winners to each be invited to attend London Pride on Saturday 5^th July 2025. The Promoter will cover the cost of transport for each winner, up to the value of £200 and W Communications will contact each of the winners via email by 11:59pm BST on 1^st July 2025.
4. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter via the Marmite website by no later than 11:59pm BST on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified. 

Entry Requirements

1. The promotion is limited to one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and group submissions are not allowed.

Each entry

1. Entrants must complete the sign-up form with their full name and email address and must answer the following question within 200 words:

• Share your story of resilience below, think about a time when you showed strength, resilience and pride in being who you are

1.  Entrants agree that they will be available to attend London Pride on Saturday 5^th July 2025.
2. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
3. By participating in this promotion, you agree to release, discharge and hold us harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this promotion (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
4. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

Prize

1. The Prize available to be won by entrants is that they will attend London Pride on Saturday 5^th July 2025 and walk alongside the Marmite and Elton John AIDS Foundation Pride float.
2. There will be maximum 3 winners. Each winner will win:

• Return travel to London and ticket to walk the London Pride parade with Marmite.
• Travel must be within the UK and will be covered up to the value of £200.

Prize specifics

1. Competition winners will be responsible for ensuring that they meet any pre-booked transportation
2. Unilever and W Communications will not be responsible for re-imbursing any missed transportation
3. Competition winners will be responsible for ensuring they arrive at a designated meeting point at the time stated on Saturday 5^th July 2025
4. Competition winners will be responsible for ensuring they are physically able to walk alongside the Pride float
5. Unilever and W Communications will not be responsible for re-imbursing any additional expenses associated with the Prize
6. Competition winners may not bring plus ones into the Pride parade
7. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part unless otherwise stated above.
   
   

Selection of Winners

1. The competition Winners will be selected at random from the valid entry pool.
2. The winner(s) will be notified by email from W Communications within 24 hours of the closing date. The winners must claim their prize by responding to the email within 24 hours of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.
3. The winner(s) may be filmed / photographed by the Promoter or on our behalf during the event. The winner(s) grant(s) us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute and make derivative works of such footage / photographs / testimonials in any media and through any media channel.
   
   

General Terms

1. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. All entry instructions form part of the rules. 
2. Entrants’ personal data collected for the purpose of administering this Promotion by the Promoter and/or by its agents will be handled in accordance with Promoter’s privacy notice, available at https://www.unilevernotices.com/privacy-notices/united-kingdom-english.html
3. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the details of the event where it becomes necessary to do so. By participating in this competition, you agree to release, discharge and hold us harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this promotion (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
4. These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
