Marmite Truffle Burger

BBQ'd beef burgers infused with our Marmite Truffle placed in a bun with crunchy lettuce, juicy tomatoes and a dollop of Marmite Truffle Mayonnaise.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small onion diced
  • 500 grams extra lean beef mince
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 3 tablespoons Marmite truffle
  • 4 tablespoons Hellmann's Lighter than Light Mayonnaise
  • 1 lettuce
  • 1 beef tomato
  • 1 red onion
  • 4 cheese slices

Method:

  • Tip the beef mince into a bowl with 1 small diced onion, 1 egg and a dollop of Marmite Truffle.

  • Divide the mixture into four and roll mixture into balls.

  • Squeeze down to flatten into patties about 3cm thick. Make sure all the burgers are the same thickness so that they will cook evenly.

  • Heat up the BBQ and place patties onto the BBQ. Lightly brush with oil.

  • Cook for 5 minutes until the meat is lightly charred.

  • Slice the burger buns in half and place on the BBQ to toast.

  • Add 200g mayonnaise into a bowl and 1 tablespoon of Marmite truffle.

  • Spread the truffle mayonnaise into the bun and layer up the burger, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cheese.
