2013 – Marmite infused Indian Menu

On 19th November 2013, the UK’s first Marmite-infused Indian menu was launched at Cinnamon Soho restaurant in London. The love/hate menu blended the famously unique taste of the nation’s most loved spread with modern Indian cuisine to tickle those gastronomic tastebuds.


The all Marmite-y menu included a starter, choice of two mains and dessert. It was created by Vivek Singh one of Britain’s top TV chefs and the man behind The Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen.


The menu, served as either a full tasting menu or as part of the main menu was available from 18th November and included:


Stir fried shrimp, Marmite and pepper fry

Seared fillet of sea bream with Marmite, kokum and curry leaf crust and Marmite coconut sauce

Chilli and peanut crusted chicken breast with a Marmite korma sauce -Marmite naan bread with honey, chilli and garlic

Marmite chocolate and cardamom mousse
