We wish we could say it was a catastrophic accident that brought us hell in the form of Marmite, but we suspect it was more like the cunning of a single individual. It seems that Marmite first appeared around the time of the Industrial Revolution. That's right. We paid a heavy price for railways and combustion engines in the form of this nauseous foodstuff.
